Surrey Heath Age Concern CIO is an independent local charity working to enhance the lives of older people in the Borough of Surrey Heath.

We are very excited to be looking for a new Event Coordinator to join our busy team! The ideal candidate will be a warm, friendly, 'people person' and someone who enjoys being out in the community, engaging with local people for the benefit of the older people that use our service.Our new Events Coordinator will be organising vintage themed tea parties, some fundraising events such as an annual sponsored walk, various trips and activities, along with special events, such as the Queens Jubilee celebrations this summer.Events experience is desirable, especially in the charity or hospitality sector and great organisational and communication skills are a must. An engaging personality, sense of humour and kind nature are essential.This opportunity plays a significant role in reducing loneliness and isolation across the Surrey Heath Borough and is an incredibly rewarding role for the right candidate.

Start Date:- As soon as possible
Hours:- 14 hours per week
Salary:-£15.50 p/h
