Punjabis Sikh, Hindu and Muslims to imbibe diverse culinary influence. They tasted the best of the rest before anyone else on the subcontinent. The proximity with Persia, Afghanistan and Central Asia gave them a taste for fresh and dried fruits and exotic nuts.
